My mom moved from Florida to Texas to live with us in July 2016. She fell quite often and couldn’t be left home alone. The caregivers we used from this agency were outstanding. A manager always came on the caregiver’s first visit for an orientation on how to care for my mom and to familiarize them with the house and things that needed to be done. Each caregiver we used was kind, helpful, attentive and provided the best care for my mom. Some of these girls became my mom’s best friends; I think she liked them better than me! When I would come home from work, my house was clean and my mom was happy. My mom had to move to an assisted living facility in March of 2017. We still used this agency, although not full time. Dawn and the office staff were so easy to work with and flexible with our schedule. At times they were able to help at the very last minute. Sadly, my mom passed away on May 9th. Several people from the agency attended her funeral. These women are family to us and we will forever be grateful for the way they loved my mom and took such good care of her. I highly recommend Benevolent Hearts Home Care.

Her care is impeccable and the staff are loving and caring. My mother has told me at times that she feels the staff are part of her family and some seem like daughters to her. She feels safe with the staff and knows they will always be there for her, no matter what.
As her daughter, the services of Benevolent Hearts Home Care provides for her are invaluable to me. I have peace of mind, 24/7, knowing that my mother is receiving top quality care. I never have to worry that she is being taken care of. The staff call me anytime they have a concern or inform me if my mother doesn’t seem to be herself or is not feeling well.

I wanted to tell how good the caregiver is with my wife. She is happier than she has been in a long time. The caregiver keeps her laughing much of the time. She fixes my wife a hot breakfast when she gets up. My wife thinks she is special. She used to sit in her chair in the dark and stare out and stare. Now she gets up and comes in the kitchen in her PJ.s waiting for her breakfast. I think they do love each other. The caregiver also keeps our house better than it has been in along time.
I have hired these senior caregivers for my 88 year old mother-in-law for a few years now. I can can sincerely say they have all been extraordinary in the loving and personal way they have not only cared for her, but befriended her! She looks forward to “sitter night” and I can go out for a few hours with my husband or friends without any worry that she is in good hands! Dawn and her team have been caring for my 92 year old mother for over 2 years. They are exceptional on a few critical issues:
1. Reliable-They show up on time and keep you informed of what you want to know, not just what you need to know.
2. Stability-We’ve worked with the same caregiver team the entire time. Staff turnover is a big challenge in senior care. Dawn and her team are able to attract and retain talent.
3. Big Hearts-Dawn owns the company and she makes it her busy to know my mom. When our caregiver is out she sends someone my mother knows. And, sometimes it’s her, the owner. That’s the kind of engagement we were looking for.
We were fortunate to learn of Benevolent Heart from our church. After a long hospitalization my wife needed some in home care. We were very pleased with the experience. The company is very well run and their flexibility in blending with our needs was greatly appreciated. The caregivers assigned to us were ‘self starters’ and needed very little prompting to anything that would be helpful to us. We recommend them highly and plan to call them again when needed.
I used Benevolent Hearts for home care while my wife was out of town for several days. Maria provided excellent care those days, making sure all my care needs were satisfied. She had a very pleasant personality and would carry on conversations I started. She also did a great job preparing meals for me just the way I like them. She did some light housekeeping that my wife asked her to do and got good marks from my wife for the quality work she did. I’ve used several senior caregivers in the past, but Maria was the best of them all. I will definitely request her the next time I need home care from Benevolent Hearts.
